epd/taz | US Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on Thursday (local time) the arrest of three people for protests against the immigration authorities ICE.
Last Sunday you loudly criticized the immigration authorities in a church in St. Paul, Minnesota. One of the three, the lawyer and civil rights activist Levy Armstrong to somedescribed the action on CNN as a “peaceful disruption.”
Her Christian faith motivates her activism, particularly against a pastor in the church who also holds a local leadership position for ICE. ICE is using extreme brutality in Minneapolis.

This was by no means an oversight or a clumsy attempt at deception. Because in response to the demand of GuardianWhen asked whether the image had been digitally altered, the White House responded with one Post on X von Kaelan Dorrthe deputy communications director.
“ONCE AGAIN, to everyone who feels the need to reflexively defend the perpetrators of heinous crimes in our country: I give you this message: Law enforcement will continue. The memes will continue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
Which means it’s not just a fake photo being circulated; but that this photo is intended to convey a message of the weakness of the opponent who has been declared the “perpetrator” and one of the strength, consistency and ruthlessness of the acting authority.
While in a constitutional state the authorities may be tempted to cover up violations of this rule of law, authoritarian regimes emphasize their ability to humiliate and inflict pain on citizens who have been declared enemies.
According to the Guardian The White House’s X account, with its approximately 3.5 million followers, has published at least 14 posts with AI since the start of Trump’s second term in office.
