GuiltyBeatz Bags Four Grammy Nominations making the most for a Ghanaian art at the 67th GRAMMYs Awards.
Ghanaian music producer GuiltyBeatz has had 4 new nominations from the Grammy Awards.
Born Ronald Banful, GuiltyBeatz has been an astute producer having worked with Wizkid, Beyoncé and many other top dogs.
GuiltyBeatz has been nominated by the Grammy Awards on account of his works with Nigeria’s Tems and Khehlani. He secured 3 and 1 together with Tems and Khehlani, respectively. He got the following nominations;
First, Global Music Album category – for producing 14 of the 18 songs on Tems’ “Born In The Wild” album
Again, GuiltyBeatz grabbed the Best African Music Performance category – for producing Tems’ Love Me JeJe
Meanwhile, GuiltyBeatz earned the Best R&B Song with Tems’ “Burning” which he produced.
Last but not least, GuiltyBeatz earned his fourth Grammy nomination because of his contribution to Khehlani’s “Crush” album. The album which GuiltyBeatz is cited as a producer earned a nomination for the Best Progressive R&B Album category.
Upon receiving the news, GuiltyBeatz took to his X account and wrote to thank God alright for the successes has been enjoying.
“4 MORE NOMINATIONS, THANKS BE TO GOD”, GuiltyBeatz said with a handshake emoji.
This is not the first time he has had a shot at the most coveted music award. He was part of Beyoncé’s Renaissance album which 4 awards at the 65th awards. He was part of the production team for the album.
Also, GuiltyBeatz was nominated in the Producer of the Year category for producing the “ Move” song of the Renaissance album.

GuiltyBeatz was born on January 17, 1990 in Palermo, Italy.
He relocated to Ghana at age six with his parents.
However, his journey to stardom in music began when he was only 1 when he acquired or they acquired him a piano. By 12 he had already started producing his beats with the Music DJ App on his Sony Ericsson (phone).
He was introduced to music at the age of 1 when he received his first piano. His interest in music was realized when he was a child and his passion has grown ever since. At the age of 12, he began to create his beats with the “Music DJ” application on his phone.

Astute producer shot to the limelight after producing Jesse Jagz’s “Bad Girl” featuring Wizkid. He continued with Mr. Eazi’s “Sample You”, and “Akwaaba” featuring Mr. Eazi, Pappy Kojo & Patapaa.
