    According to the Spanish media outlet, MARCA, the American football team, Inter Miami could be the guest club at the 2025 Club World Cup.

    “Inter would be invited in its capacity as the best team in the MLS regular season, an official title for Major League Soccer that is called the Supporters’ Shield,” MARCA reported.

    Marca reported that Inter Miami have been invited as part of FIFA’s quota for a club from the host country.

    The original four CONCACAF teams that have qualified for the Club World Cup are Rayados of Monterrey, León, Pachuca (Mexico) and Seattle Sounders (MLS).

    Even though FIFA has not yet officially named the team to represent the host country,
    MARCA is sure that Inter Miami will be the team guest team from the USA.

    ” MARCA can assure that it will be Inter as a champion of the regular League, without waiting for the real champion of the MLS, that is, the one who wins the ‘playoffs’ that begin next week and where Inter is also the favourite.” The Spanish outlet reported.

    According to MARCA, the world football body, FIFA will soon announce Inter Miami as the guest team. They report that Inter Miami internally believe they will be playing
    a new tournament to play.

    Thirty (30) clubs have already qualified for the Club World Cup. There are only two slots left for the guests. These two are the champions of the 2024 Libertadores, which could be Mineiro, Peñarol, Botafogo or Olimpia. The final will be played in December. The last slot is for Inter Miami, as reported by MARCA.

    The official teams that have been approved by FIFA include Rayados de Monterrey, León and Pachuca (Mexico), and the Seattle Sounders (United States), representing the CONCACAF.

    Palmeiras, Flamengo and Fluminense as former winners of the Libertadores. Also, Boca Juniors and River Plate, represent the CONMEBOL.

    Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City as recent winners of the UEFA Champions League. Others including Bayern, PSG, Inter, Dortmund, Porto, Atlético, Benfica, Juve and Red Bull Salzburg, represent the UEFA.

    Meanwhile Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan, Ulsan of South Korea and Emirati Al Ain, represent Asia.

    Al-Ahly of Egypt, Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, Esperance of Tunisia, and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, represent Africa. The Oceanina has Auckland City, New Zealand.
