The nominees for the 67th edition of the Grammy Awards were announced on November, 8. The Grammy CEO in company of some past winners and nominees, announced over 90 categories.
Fans of the Pop band are excited about their nomination for the first time since 1997.
They grabbed two nominations with their latest song, “Now and Then”.
First, they bagged the “Record of the Year” category rubbing shoulders with contemporary artists like artists Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish.

The band have also been nominated in the “Best Rock Performance” category for the same track.

The first nomination, the Record of the Year category includes the following;

The Beatles’ two nominations with the “Now and Then” record marks their first nominations since late 1997 when they won three Grammys in 1997.
The “Now and Then” Song was released on November 2, 2023. The song was dubbed the as “the last Beatles song”. It is most likely to be the Beatles’ last song.
The song was written by the late John Lennon, who died in 1980. It features features original vocals that Lennon recorded in 1970. The records were preserved using artificial intelligence.
However, the only two surviving members, McCartney and Ringo Starr, added fresh instrumentation to the “Now and Then”. The song also features guitar recordings by the late George Harrison in the 90s.
