Remote diagnosis for Trump on Insta: Dangerous in any case

The whole thing is probably a little tasteless. Which doesn’t mean it doesn’t work if the Instagrammer @epistemiccrisis analyzed the latest Trump appearances in order to recognize signs in them what stage of his dementia is the 47th President of the United States.

“I am a physical therapist with (…) 14 years of experience in home health care, treating geriatric patients with dementia – patients like this guy.” Every video begins with these words and a finger-pointing at Trump.

Then the analysis begins: Sometimes the @epictemiccrisis talks about Trump’s gait, sometimes about his posture, sometimes about his language or bruises on his hands. All are bombproof signs that Trump is on frontotemporal dementia is ill – the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain shrink.

When appearing in Davos a few days ago, @epistemiccrisis sees one symptom after another. It starts after the helicopter lands, where Trump can barely walk down the red carpet in a straight line. Or his typical dementia-like hunched posture at the lectern, which he has to lean on.

High risk of falls

“This suggests that a patient knows, at least subconsciously, that their risk of falling is high.” His confused speech, in which Trump rambles about how NATO countries called him “Daddy” and in which he confuses Greenland with Iceland, should also provide information.

Even though @epistemiccrisis tries to be professional, he can’t help but use an ironic tone: You can tell he’s not a Trump fan.

In some videos he explains that he himself was part of the MAGA cult, as he calls it, and that he therefore made it his mission to break their illusion. Is a slightly malicious remote diagnosis the most virtuous way to do this? The almost 600,000 followers don’t seem to mind. And one thing is also clear: regardless of whether you have dementia or not: Trump is dangerous.
