Charlton Athletic have made Tyler Bindon their ninth signing of the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old centre-back arrives from Nottingham Forest.
Bindon is a New Zealand international and featured in all three of their World Cup group games in June. They finished bottom of Group G.
The Auckland-born player has previously had loans at Reading, where he also started his playing career once based in the UK, and Sheffield United.

Charlton have had to react to backline injuries with Collins Sichenje and Billy Koumetio forced off early with injuries in Wednesday’s 5-1 EFL Cup defeat to Tottenham.
The knee injury sustained by Sichenje is set to keep the Kenyan out for a prolonged period of time.
Bindon is a right-footed centre-back but also able to play at right-back. Kayne Ramsay, who recently signed a new contract, can also fill those two roles but is not expected to return from an ankle injury until after the international break.
Bindon played 26 times for Sheffield United last season – 22 of those starts. An ankle problem kept him out of their final two fixtures. He won three successive Player of the Match awards for the Blades in March.
“We have done very well to get him,” Nathan Jones told South London Sport: Charlton Athletic Edition. “He improves the squad significantly. He is probably somebody we couldn’t have afforded to buy.
