az: Mr. Küppersbusch, what was bad last week?
Friedrich Küppersbusch: There are ad blockers. Can I please for the winter games a fall blocker have?
taz: And what gets better in this one?
Küppersbusch: The ARD commentators insulted their director live on the channel because they stubbornly stuck to the accident pictures.
taz: Maja T. was sentenced to eight years in prison in Hungary. The extradition at that time was declared unconstitutional by the Federal Constitutional Court. What do you expect from the federal government now?
Küppersbusch: Bring him home, give him a fair trial. So clear. So impossible. According to German law, Maja T. should not have stood in Hungary and not before this court. The extradition was illegal and the EU is withholding billions, also because Hungary’s judiciary is politically subservient. Interior Minister Dobrindt, on the other hand, has “no objection” to the procedure, and we are all very curious to see where he sees the differences from ICE practices. Instead, the federal government refers to a deal with Hungary: conviction there, sentence served here. This should be made nice by taking into account the pre-trial detention and a “we’re kind of sorry about the kidnapping” bonus. No matter how you feel about “violence against Nazis” and whatever Maja T. had to do with it, the person is now refusing the dirty deal, and that deserves respect.
taz: Another verdict was made this week: In the case of Joachim Volza senior doctor who performed abortions, the court came to a complex decision. How do you rate them?
Küppersbusch: If Prof. Volz wears the senior doctor’s coat, he is not allowed to carry out any abortions under instructions. If he puts on his doctor’s robe over it, he’s allowed to do so, and in his practice at home anyway. If you want to completely fool women in need, I think you’re on the right track. After mergers and changes of ownership, the “Christian Hospital Klinikum Lippstadt” is currently a bit Protestant, a bit Catholic and is celebrating the verdict as confirmation of its church privilege. The judges had ruled according to the logic of a car repair shop; a company does not have to offer every service. This means: The church uses a ruling in which an embryo is only an engine for exchange. You didn’t really want to know.
taz: The figure of 71,000 people killed in Gaza was given by the Israeli side long deniedbut now confirmed. Did Israel have to wait until the world’s attention turned elsewhere?
Küppersbusch: In June and October 2025, research teams from the “Royal Holloway College” in London and the Rostock “Max Planck Institute for Demography” presented studies according to which the Hamas Ministry of Health’s death toll was 30 to 40 percent too low – even then. Unlike the ministry, they also used surveys and social media comparisons. Rather, it can be assumed that there were over 100,000 deaths – not including those who starved, died of thirst or died due to failure to provide assistance. Israel’s propaganda now simply uses the lowest number available on the opinion market, which draws from the previously disavowed Palestinian source. The British study cited at least 56 percent of women, children under 18 and old people over 65 killed, while Israel said it still needed to be clarified. how many victims were not Hamas terrorists. Putin lies to Russia about the victims of his blood butchery; The western Siegfrieden faction also shows little interest in reliable figures from Ukraine. Since Prince of Peace Trump occasionally puts out some terrible numbers, it may dawn on us that we shouldn’t give him the power of interpretation.
taz: The class war continues, but this week not in terms of lifestyle part-time, but rather through the CDU Economic Council’s desire to cut dental benefits. Why this class struggle from above?
Küppersbusch: I have been an entrepreneur for 30 years and am still looking for an umbrella organization with which I can effectively defend myself against defamation by “economic experts”.
taz: The new Epstein files reveal allegedly unimaginable crimes by rich men. The only person in prison so far as part of the investigation is Ghislaine Maxwell, a woman. What does that tell us?
Küppersbusch: Everything. Of the 6 million pieces of evidence from the Epstein and Maxwell trials, only 3.5 million have now been published, many of them blacked out and the selection doctored. So it’s fair to say: at most half is accessible. Anyone who analyzes them becomes an accomplice in the “Department of Justice’s” breaking of the law and a useful idiot for its spin. Anyone who doesn’t analyze them is a bad journalist. Do’ What. So the only thing that is certain is what we already knew: it is a monstrous monument of corruption, pimping, sex crimes and the political purposes that were pursued with it. I get investigative jamming when people now focus on Princess Mette-Marit, Sarah Ferguson and other women because of the irrefutable assumption that that is exactly the editors’ intention. It is macabre, but your question about the exposed power structure is the lighthouse in this ocean of mud.
taz: And what is RWE doing?
Küppersbusch: Plays against Alemannia in Aachen and will not be broadcast on WDR. I would be outraged if the weather wasn’t so nice.
