What happened so far: Nothing yet. Because the truth winter series only starts with its first episode today. But then there’s the real deal with a spider-loving octopus breeder named… – but just read for yourself, from now on in loose order…

Heinz-Hermann was a strange man. In his free time he once bred three-legged spiders, a real curiosity in the world of science. As a child he started breeding seventy-legged spiders, but since they all suffered from stinky feet, it soon became unbearable. That’s why Heinz-Hermann started breeding octopuses. They lived underwater where you couldn’t smell them, and they didn’t have legs either. Just poor people.

When Heinz-Hermann once met a young woman – about ten years ago – he told her that none of his octopuses had any legs. The woman then burst into tears and became a missionary in the Midwest. From then on, Heinz-Hermann deleted this pick-up line from his repertoire. But things were to get even worse: the phone rang!

Heinz-Hermann picked up the receiver. “Hello, Heinz-Hermann? It’s father!” Heinz-Hermann immediately hung up again; he really couldn’t use something like that right now. Whenever he thought about Father, he realized what a failure he was. Father, the great super agent, the shining role model of all spies, the hero of all snoopers and moles – no, just not!

The enchanting Mathilde-Regine

Heinz-Hermann decided to call Mathilde-Regine. The enchanting Mathilde-Regine, with whom he had been hopelessly in love since elementary school. She had been his arithmetic teacher at the time, but had always brusquely rejected his advances. He had seen her again at the class reunion 40 years ago, she had aged a little and a strange scent caressed her – Heinz-Hermann was enthralled again.

Then the phone rang again: “Heinz-Hermann, it’s father!” Heinz-Hermann immediately wanted to hang up the phone again, but father threatened him: “Don’t you dare hang up the phone again! ‘Dackel’ has a job for you!” Heinz-Hermann’s vision almost went black. “Dachshund” was the code name for Rupert Schulte, a sneaky prat who once stole Mathilde-Regine from him and then left her cold. He had only used it to obtain sensitive data from “Signore Krell’s” backers.

Just thinking about “Signore Krell” sent an ice-cold shiver down Heinz-Hermann’s spine. Because it was he who had once whispered to him about breeding seventy or three-legged spiders. He wanted to calm Heinz-Hermann, that was clear to him today. It had worked well for a few decades.
