Happy Five Great Things week. I just spent a week very much off the fashion grid. Always a good idea to get out of my bubble and see both what I actually wear in this environment (in this case the south shore of Lake Superior, north shore of Minnesota) and what I actually miss or look forward to in my impending return to my wardrobe. More on what I’m thinking about for fall dressing in the coming weeks, but what I wore on repeat this last week were these five: shorts, heavy l/s tee (a great backup), boat shoes, t-shirt, easy pants (1 of 5GT below.)
Which brings me to this week’s 5GT: a smattering of summer’s last licks, one colorful memento to eagerly await the cold and some great ideas for getting dressed for these coming in between weeks. Labor Day is so late this year, no? It’s really throwing off the fall transition wardrobe. But not to worry, we have the U.S. Open to tide us over, which starts tonight!
